H&R Super Sport Lowering Springs – BMW M3 Competition xDrive (G80, S58)

OVERVIEW

H&R's Super Sport line takes the same idea as its class-leading Sport Springs and pushes it further: a bigger drop in ride height for a more aggressive stance and even sharper turn-in, while still working with the factory Adaptive M Suspension. This is H&R's Super Sport application for the AWD G80 M3 Competition xDrive sedan, engineered specifically for the all-wheel-drive four-door.

H&R states the Super Sport line carries all the same features as its Sport Springs, plus additional lowering, so the car keeps its factory-tuned damper compatibility while sitting noticeably lower and tighter to the fender.

Every H&R spring is crafted from H&R's own spring steel and shot-peened for durability, finished with a premium epoxy powder coat, and 100% made and tested in-house at H&R's ISO 9001-certified facility in Germany. Quality assurance is backed by TÜV and ISO 9001 certification, and H&R backs the Super Sport line with a limited lifetime warranty.

Additional Parts Required

• None. H&R specifies no additional hardware for this spring kit.
• Four-wheel alignment after installation — H&R states that whenever vehicle ride height is adjusted, the wheel alignment must be checked.
• Professional installation — H&R states its springs and suspensions should be installed by professional suspension mechanics only.
• Spring compressor (installer-supplied) to safely disassemble the factory strut assemblies.
• Bumpstop trimming may be required — check your kit number against the bumpstop table in the H&R technical information sheet below before installation.

Notes

• This is the AWD (xDrive) application. Speed Logic separately carries the Sport-tier spring for the RWD G80 M3 (28616-1) and the Sport-tier spring for the xDrive sedan (28616-3). If you want the milder Sport drop instead of Super Sport for your xDrive car, confirm the correct kit with Speed Logic before ordering.
