H&R Super Sport Spring Kit – BMW 3 Series & 4 Series (F30/F32, N20/B48/N55/B58/B46)

OVERVIEW

H&R Super Sport Springs are the aggressive end of H&R's street range for the BMW F30 3 Series and F32 4 Series RWD platform. They drop the car further than the standard H&R Sport Spring, pulling the center of gravity down harder and closing the fender gap for a noticeably more aggressive stance and less body roll.

Like the rest of the range the rate is progressive and roughly 10–20% up on stock, so the spring is still usable every day and firms up as it compresses rather than crashing. Because of the larger ride-height drop, wheel, tire and camber clearance should be checked before ordering, and H&R publishes different lowering figures for cars with and without factory sport suspension.

H&R builds every spring in-house in Germany from a special 54SiCr6 spring steel, cold-wound and then shot-peened to increase service life by more than 200%, so the spring resists settling and sagging over time. Each spring is 100% tested before it leaves H&R's ISO 9001-certified plant, and the range carries TÜV approval.

Additional Parts Required

• Confirm rear-wheel drive. This kit is for RWD F30/F32 cars only. xDrive versions require a different H&R part number.
• Confirm factory sport suspension. H&R publishes different lowering figures for cars with and without factory sport suspension — confirm which your car has before ordering.
• Spring compressor. A spring-only kit requires the struts to be disassembled, which needs a proper coil-spring compressor. Installer-supplied.
• Four-wheel alignment. H&R requires the alignment to be checked and reset any time ride height is changed. Budget for this before ordering.
• Professional installation. H&R states its springs and suspensions should be installed by professional suspension mechanics only. Improper installation voids the H&R warranty.
• Wheel and tire clearance check. Verify clearance at the fender, strut and inner arch at full lock and full compression given the larger drop — particularly with aftermarket wheel and tire packages.
• Optional: matched sport-valved dampers, since a lowered car holds up better on a damper valved for the shorter spring.

Notes

• This kit fits both the F30 3 Series sedan and the F32 4 Series coupe on the shared platform — confirmed against three independent vendor fitment charts (Turner Motorsport, ECS Tuning, Bimmerworld), all of which list both chassis under this single part number.
• Lowering figures are H&R factory approximations and vary with suspension type, options and starting ride height. Confirm exact fitment with Speed Logic before ordering.
