KW Coilover Kit Variant 3 (V3) 2-Way Adjustable – BMW Z4 (E89)

OVERVIEW

The Variant 3 is KW's two-way adjustable coilover and the one most people actually want. Compression and rebound are on separate adjusters, so you can firm up body control without also killing rebound compliance, and ride height is continuously adjustable across the kit's range. It is the sensible step up from a spring-only kit and a large step up from the factory strut.

The stock damper is the limiting part on the E89 Z4. Factory valving is a single fixed compromise and the ride height is whatever the car left the line at. The V3 replaces the whole strut with a rebuildable, height-adjustable, damping-adjustable unit.

This listing covers the E89 Z4. Choose 35220072 if your car does not have factory Adaptive Drive. Choose 35220087, KW's Bundle, if it does — it ships with KW's ESC cancellation module so the adaptive dampers are deleted without setting fault codes.
