KW Variant 3 Coilovers – BMW M4 Convertible (F83) Adaptive M

OVERVIEW

KW Variant 3 is race technology built for the road. Independently adjustable compression and rebound damping let the driver build a setup around how and where the car is actually used instead of living with a single fixed compromise.

KW's patented dual-level valve system separates the two circuits. Rebound damping is dialled in for road comfort and body control, while compression damping governs driving dynamics, and each is adjusted on the car without affecting the other. State-of-the-art motorsport damper technology is what makes that separation possible.

This application is built specifically for the BMW M4 (F83) Convertible fitted with Adaptive M Suspension and ships with KW's EDC cancellation kit so the factory electronic damper control is deactivated cleanly.

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment — mandatory after installation and after any change in ride height.
• Professional installation — KW specifies fitment by a qualified suspension shop.
• Factory ride-height sensor links must be removed or transferred exactly as described in the KW instructions.
• Driver-assistance cameras and radar require recalibration after the car is lowered.
• Confirm tire-to-strut and tire-to-fender clearance with your wheel and tire package before setting final ride height.
