KW V3 Leveling Coilover Kit – BMW 530i / 540i (G30, B48/B58)

OVERVIEW

KW V3 Leveling is the current name for KW's Street Comfort platform — the same comfort-biased, height-adjustable suspension line, rebranded by KW into its Street Comfort product family alongside the V1, V2, and V3 coilover ranges. The height-adjustable system lowers the car roughly 0.8–1.8 in front and rear, improving stance and fitment for aftermarket wheels while keeping ride quality the priority.

A comfort-tuned spring is paired with a harmonized damper so more usable spring travel is retained than on a sport-oriented coilover, and the moderate drop still sharpens road contact and body control over the stock setup. This application is for the rear-wheel-drive BMW 5 Series G30 sedan only — KW does not offer this kit for xDrive G30 cars.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation is mandatory — KW requires the suspension geometry to be reset to BMW's specification once the final ride height is set.
• Professional installation required — KW states that suspension components must only be fitted by a trained workshop; impact wrenches must not be used on piston-rod fasteners.
• If your car has factory Electronic Damper Control (EDC), you must order the "With EDC" configuration — the base (non-EDC) kit is not compatible with EDC-equipped cars.
• Driver-assistance systems (radar and camera based) must be re-verified and recalibrated after the car is lowered.
• Check wheel and tire clearance to the strut body after installation; spacers may be required where clearance is marginal.

Notes

• RWD (2WD) G30 sedan only — KW has not released a Street Comfort / V3 Leveling application for the xDrive G30, and none is available for the M550i xDrive (which is xDrive-only from BMW). KW also publishes a V3 Leveling application for the 4 Series (G22) coupe, xDrive only, without EDC — sold separately as a standalone listing.
