Mishimoto Air-to-Water Intercooler Power Pack, Black – BMW S55 M2 Competition / M3 / M4 (F8x)

OVERVIEW

The power pack upgrades the whole S55 charge-air circuit in one go: Mishimoto's air-to-water intercooler, its larger front heat exchanger and a pair of aluminum charge pipes. Doing all three together removes the heat-soak and pipe-failure weak points that show up first on a tuned F8X.

The heat exchanger is 6 inches taller with 60% more core volume and 180% more fin area, and the intercooler adds 29% more core volume. On a Stage 1 M3, Mishimoto recorded a 12°F intake air temperature drop and average gains of 11 whp and 8 wtq. The kit carries CARB EO D-759-13.

Additional Parts Required

• None. The bundle covers the full charge-air circuit.
• Coolant is not supplied. The job opens the low-temperature charge-air coolant circuit, so plan to refill and bleed it with BMW-approved coolant.
