Moton 1-Way Series Coilovers – BMW M3 / M4 (F8X)

OVERVIEW

The Moton 1-Way Series is the entry point into Moton's motorsport-derived coilover range for the F80 M3 and F82 / F83 M4. It is a single-adjustable (rebound) non-inverted monotube damper with ride-height adjustment, built by Moton (AST Suspension) in the Netherlands with application-specific valving and springs. It delivers serious street and track-day performance without remote reservoirs — ideal for drivers who want one knob to tune, or race classes that prohibit canisters.

Moton splits the F8X into two part numbers by front top-mount bolt pattern: pre-LCI cars use a 3-bolt mount and LCI cars use a 5-bolt mount. Check your car's top-mount bolt pattern before selecting an Application above.

Installation

• Pre-LCI (3-bolt) and LCI (5-bolt) top mounts are a hardware difference, not just a model-year split — verify your car's top-mount bolt pattern before ordering.
• Moton does not publish a public installation PDF; kits ship with application-specific setup notes from Moton. Installation should be performed by a shop experienced with motorsport coilovers, followed by a four-wheel alignment.
