Öhlins SpecE9X Dedicated Track Coilover System – BMW 3 Series (E90 / E92)

OVERVIEW

Öhlins' Dedicated Track system for the rear-wheel-drive E90 / E92 3 Series was developed around the SpecE9X racing class, where every car runs the same Öhlins package. It pairs Öhlins' DFV (Dual Flow Valve) monotube dampers with Swift race springs and chassis-specific clicker and ride-height settings — a proven spec-racing setup that works just as well for dedicated track-day cars.

Unlike Öhlins' track kit for the M3, this system is designed to run with the factory top mounts or your choice of aftermarket mounts, keeping cost down for racers on a class budget. Custom spring rates are available.

• Öhlins DFV (Dual Flow Valve) technology; monotube dampers with strengthened inverted front struts and aluminum-body rear shocks
• 20-click damping adjustment (compression and rebound adjusted together)
• Adjustable ride height: approx. 20 mm range
• Front spring rate: 120 N/mm (approx. 672 lb/in) — Swift spring
• Rear spring rate: 160 N/mm (approx. 914 lb/in) — Swift spring
• Uses the original top mounts or suitable aftermarket mounts (spherical mounts not included)
• Developed for the SpecE9X class; rebuildable and serviceable

Additional Parts Required

• Top mounts — the kit does not include upper mounts. Reuse the factory top mounts in good condition, or fit aftermarket spherical / camber mounts if your class rules allow.
• A four-wheel alignment and corner weighting after installation are required.

• Rear-wheel-drive E90 sedan and E92 coupe only — not for xDrive, the E91 wagon or the E93 convertible. The E9x M3 takes the Öhlins Dedicated Track system for the M3.
