Precision Raceworks F3X / F8X Billet Top Hat

OVERVIEW

Melted factory top hats are a known failure on hard-driven F-chassis cars once pump current goes up. The Precision Raceworks F3X / F8X billet top hat replaces the factory lid with an anodized billet piece that has high-current primary connectors, a hermetically sealed wire pass-through and up to three high-flow fuel ports.

It is the platform for bigger in-tank fuel systems: a single upgraded pump, dual pumps with a single or dual output (dual output gives separate feeds for direct and port injection), Stage 3 and Stage 4 pumps, surge tanks and AFS-style setups. A replaceable filter and a 5 bar regulator keep it compatible with the factory system.

Two versions are offered: one for the Precision Raceworks Stage 4 / 4.5 S55 or B58 pumps (601-0331) and one for all other pumps (601-0371). Pumps are not included.

Required Extras

• In-tank fuel pump(s) — the top hat is supplied without pumps. Pair it with the Precision Raceworks F-Series N20 / N26 / N55 High Performance Fuel Pump, the Precision Raceworks F-Series S55 High Performance Fuel Pump or the Precision Raceworks F-Series F2X / F3X B58 High Performance Fuel Pump.
• Dual-output and AFS-style configurations: additional fuel lines, regulators and filter kits as your setup requires — sold separately (not stocked by Speed Logic).
