Turbosmart Kompact EM VR9 Blow Off / Diverter Valve – BMW N55

OVERVIEW

The N55's factory diverter valve is a plastic solenoid unit with a known failure record, and a leaking one costs boost long before it throws a code. Turbosmart's Kompact EM VR9 replaces it with a CNC billet valve that keeps the factory electronic control — the ECU still commands it, so nothing about the car's behavior changes except that the valve seals.

Choose the dual port version if you want some of the release audible, or the plumb back version to keep the car quiet and the metered air in the intake tract.

Additional Parts Required

• None. The valve is a direct replacement for the factory unit and uses the OEM electrical connector.

Notes

• Does not fit the BMW M2 (F87). The M2 takes the Turbosmart Kompact EM VR11 valve, part numbers TS-0223-1094 and TS-0223-1294.
