AMS Performance BMW F8X/F87 S55 Charge Pipes

OVERVIEW

The AMS Performance S55 charge pipes replace the failure-prone factory plastic piping on the F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and F87 M2 Competition/CS with a complete hot- and cold-side kit: both upper charge pipes and the lower J-pipe. Cross-section increases by up to 72% at the largest OEM restriction, letting more air reach the engine for more power and torque.

CNC-machined billet 6061-T6 compressor outlet flanges carry OEM-style locking features and smooth radiused transitions into 6061-T6 aluminum tubing. Every pipe is wrinkle-black powder-coated, and the J-pipe has a 1/8" NPT port for methanol or nitrous. The kit fits like stock with no cutting or drilling.

• M2 CS fitment: The M2 CS uses the same factory S55 charge pipes as the M2 Competition (BMW 11617846245, 11617846246 and 11618057992), so this kit fits. AMS Performance does not officially list the CS in its published applications.
• Emissions: AMS Performance has not completed CARB/EPA compliance testing for this part. Not legal for emissions-controlled vehicles in California without a completed AMS race waiver.
