AMS Performance Toyota GR Supra Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake

OVERVIEW

The AMS Performance carbon fiber air intake replaces the GR Supra's plastic filter box and intake tube with a sealed, hand-laid matte carbon fiber airbox and tube plus a reusable dry media filter. The enclosed box mates directly to the Supra's factory intake duct, so the turbo draws only cold outside air, and the airbox lets air swirl around the full circumference of the filter for even flow.

AMS testing showed a 25% reduction in pressure drop versus the factory system. Intake piping grows to 90mm (a 26.5% larger cross-section than the corrugated OEM tube), so the system also suits larger aftermarket turbo compressor inlets. AMS notes the Supra's torque-based ECU strategy means power gains require ECU calibration.

Additional Parts Required

• Spacers (2021+ only). Per AMS Performance, 2021 and newer GR Supras with factory strut-tower bracing require additional spacers to fit this intake. Contact Speed Logic for the correct spacers before ordering.

Notes

• Tuning: AMS states horsepower gains require ECU calibration on the GR Supra.
• Aftermarket strut braces: May require spacers; AMS does not guarantee compatibility with aftermarket strut-tower braces.
• Filter care: Clean with compressed air (30–40 psi) from the inside out. For a deep clean, use a mild biodegradable degreaser, rinse, and allow 24 hours to dry.
• Carbon fiber: Parts are hand-laid; slight imperfections or weave variation are normal.
• Emissions: AMS Performance has not completed CARB/EPA compliance testing for this part. Not legal for emissions-controlled vehicles in California without a completed AMS race waiver.
