AST 5300 Series 3-Way Coilovers – BMW M3 / M4 (F80 / F82, S55)

OVERVIEW

The AST 5300 Series is a three-way adjustable coilover — independent high- and low-speed compression plus rebound — for the F80 M3 and F82 M4 (S55). It is a height-adjustable, rebuildable platform aimed at serious street and track use.

• For cars with 3-bolt front strut towers (AST's "pre-LCI" fitment) — early-production cars built in 2014

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• EDC cancellation module — required on cars with factory Adaptive M (EDC) dampers to prevent damper fault warnings: KW ESC Cancellation Module Pair — choose 68510390 (F80 / F82 / F83). Not needed on cars without Adaptive M.
• Four-wheel alignment — mandatory. Camber, caster and toe change with ride height; book a full alignment (and corner-balance for track use) immediately after installation.

Notes

• Count the bolts on each front strut tower before ordering. This kit fits early-production cars with 3-bolt strut towers (built in 2014). BMW switched to 5-bolt towers by January 2015 production; 5-bolt cars need a different AST kit — confirm fitment with Speed Logic before ordering.
