OVERVIEW

The AWE Touring Edition Axle-Back Exhaust is the street-focused member of the AWE Exhaust Suite for the B58-powered BMW F3X 340i and 440i. It replaces the factory rear muffler section with a straight-through, CNC mandrel-bent system handcrafted from U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel.

Drone is handled by AWE's 180 Technology resonator: exhaust gases pass through tuned ports into reflection chambers, and the reflected sound waves rejoin the main flow 180 degrees out of phase, cancelling the problematic frequencies. This listing is the diamond black 90mm configuration, backed by AWE's fitment and no check engine light guarantees.

Additional Parts Required

• None. AWE specifies no additional parts and no tune for this axle-back.
• Installation requires cutting the factory pipe (about 2.25" forward of the rear dimple): saw or tubing cutter, deburring tool and torque wrench, installer-supplied. Professional installation on a lift is recommended.
