OVERVIEW

bootmod3 (BM3) is a cloud-based flash tuning platform for the BMW F and G series and the 2020+ Toyota Supra. It is not a piggyback module — it writes a full calibration to the factory DME over the OBD port, and it has been developed and tested in-house since its debut in November 2016, with new features and updates added regularly.

Everything is driven from a web interface for Windows and macOS, or from the bootmod3 mobile apps for iOS and Android. Build the tune for your A90/A91 Supra and move from stock to full race calibration — and everywhere in between — with a map switch in the app. Flashing takes a matter of minutes and can be done in your own driveway anywhere internet access is available.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• ECU Unlock Service for BMW B58 Engines — 2020 Supra models running the November 2019 or later software update require a bench unlock before the DME can be flashed over OBD. Confirm your software level with Speed Logic before ordering.
• bootmod3 OBD WiFi adapter, or a generic OBD2-to-Ethernet (ENET) cable — one or the other is required to connect the car to bootmod3. Speed Logic does not stock these as separate listings; the WiFi adapter can be added using the bundle option in the variant selector above.
• A compatible device — an iOS or Android phone when using the WiFi adapter, or a Windows/macOS laptop (Google Chrome recommended) when using an ENET cable.
• Ethernet-to-USB adapter — only if your laptop has no built-in Ethernet port.
• Internet access at the vehicle — bootmod3 is a cloud platform and must reach the bootmod3 servers to download and flash a map.
• Battery charger or tender, recommended to hold voltage steady for the duration of the flash. Bootmod3 does not publish a minimum voltage figure; this is standard practice for any DME flash.
