OVERVIEW

The bootmod3 FlexFuel Kit – Basic is the frequently requested, more economical alternative to the bootmod3 High Flow kit. It is an engine bay mounted kit that uses specialty fittings to plug and play with the OEM fuel lines, rather than requiring fabricated lines and spliced wiring.

Install the kit, flash a flex fuel enabled bootmod3 OTS MultiMap or custom map, and the alcohol/gasoline blend percentage in your tank is handled automatically — no re-flashing between fills. The kit installs in minutes at home rather than taking hours on a lift, and is fully reversible: it can be removed and the car returned to stock without a trace.

Additional Parts Required

• A means of flashing the tune — an OBD-to-Ethernet (ENET) cable with a Windows or macOS laptop running Google Chrome, or a bootmod3 OBD WiFi Adapter with the iOS / Android app. Speed Logic does not currently stock a standalone ENET cable.
• E85 or ethanol-blended fuel. The kit only measures and reports ethanol content — you supply the fuel.
• Basic hand tools supplied by the installer. No cutting, splicing or fabrication is required.
• Optional: an auxiliary fuel pressure sensor is not included and not required for this kit.
