Dorch HPFP Lift Kit – BMW S55

OVERVIEW

The Dorch S55 Lift Kit is a game-changing fueling solution for the S55 community. It pushes 38% more fuel flow out of the OEM high pressure fuel pumps by starting with genuine BMW vacuum pump cores and installing the Dorch Engineering cam inside the OEM assembly using Dorch's proprietary manufacturing tooling and validation equipment. The result is a large gain in fuel flow in a very simple, clean package that still uses the factory HPFPs.

Because the S55 engine uses some of the smallest fuel pump cams in the Bosch lineup, this additional flow is achieved without sacrificing any of the longevity or reliability of the OEM pumps. There is no cutting, no bending and no crimping; the kit drops straight in like factory and requires no special tuning to get up and running, with all of the safety and sophistication of the stock DME left in place. It is the only HPFP upgrade available that will successfully pass emissions on OEM DME mapping.

Additional Parts Required

• None. Dorch specifies no software changes and no additional hardware to run this upgrade.
• Highly recommended: larger S63 EU5 injectors. The S55 fuel system is very much limited by the injectors, and the true benefit of this kit is only seen once they are upgraded.
• Optional: preset optimized maps are available through BOOTMOD3 S55 and MHD — simply tick the box for the Dorch “Lift Kit” upgrade when flashing.
• A core is required. Choose either the option to send your own core to Dorch for the upgrade, or the refundable core deposit option at checkout.

Installation

• Dorch Engineering does not publish a public downloadable installation manual for this kit; instructions and support are supplied with the kit. Contact Speed Logic for installation help.

Notes

• The standard F87 M2 with the N55 engine is not covered by this kit — only the S55-powered M2 Competition and M2 CS. Confirm your exact model and model year with Speed Logic before ordering.
