Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe Kit – BMW X1 / Z4 N20 (E84 / E89)

OVERVIEW

The Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe Kit replaces the factory soft plastic charge pipe on E-chassis BMW models with the N20 turbo four-cylinder: the 2011–2015 X1 sDrive28i / xDrive28i (E84) and the 2011–2016 Z4 sDrive28i (E89). The factory pipe is prone to breaking under high boost; this kit replaces it with two mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum pipes (upper and lower), both required for installation.

The upper pipe steps up to 2.75" to match the throttle body (the factory pipe is 2.5"). Smooth bends keep charge air velocity up for better throttle response and less turbo lag. A CNC machined factory-style O-ring and lock flange at the throttle body and a CNC machined MAP sensor flange with the factory O-ring seal keep the connections leak-free and make removal as quick as stock.
