KW Variant 3 Coilovers – BMW M3 (F80) / M4 (F82)

OVERVIEW

KW Variant 3 is race technology for the road. State-of-the-art motorsport damper technology is packaged in a street coilover kit with independently adjustable compression and rebound damping, so the chassis can be set up for the way the car is actually driven.

The exclusive KW patented damper system uses dual-level valves: rebound damping is adjusted for ride comfort, while compression damping controls the driving dynamics. Both are adjusted independently of one another, and ride height is continuously adjustable. This kit is for F80 M3 and F82 M4 models that were not built with Adaptive M Suspension.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• None. KW specifies no additional hardware for this kit — it is built for cars without Adaptive M Suspension, so no EDC cancellation module is needed.
• A four-wheel alignment is mandatory after installation and after any ride-height change.
• Professional installation is strongly recommended; spring compressors and BMW-specific strut tooling are required.
• Check tire-to-strut and tire-to-fender clearance before driving, particularly with non-OEM wheel and tire sizes.
• Vehicles fitted with ride-height sensors (adaptive headlights, driver-assistance cameras) must have those systems recalibrated after lowering.

Installation

• Printed KW installation instructions are supplied in the box with the kit.
• No KW-published installation PDF could be verified for this part number. Contact Speed Logic if you need the instructions before the kit arrives.

Notes

• Fits vehicles without Adaptive M Suspension only. If your car has Adaptive M Suspension, use the KW V3 kit that includes EDC cancellation (352200AP).
