Mishimoto Color-Matched Performance Charge Pipe Kit – BMW M3 / M4 (F80 / F82 / F83, S55)

OVERVIEW

The S55 uses a plastic charge pipe between the intercooler and the throttle body. It is a known weak point once the car is tuned: the pipe splits or the coupler lets go under raised boost, the engine dumps its charge air and the car goes straight to limp mode. Mishimoto's replacement is mandrel-bent aluminum with silicone couplers and worm gear clamps, and it is one of the first jobs worth doing on a tuned F8X.

This listing is the color-matched version of that pipe. Mechanically it is identical to the standard black MMICP-F80-15 that Speed Logic already carries; the only difference is the powder coat, matched to six factory BMW paint codes so the pipe disappears into the engine bay instead of standing out against the plastics. Choose the color that matches your car, or pick a contrast if you want the pipe to be visible with the cover off.

Every color ships as the same complete kit with the same hardware and shares one installation document with the black version. Fitment is identical across all six.

Additional Parts Required

• Nothing further is required. The kit is complete with its couplers, clamps and hardware, and it uses the factory sensor and diverter connections.

• Mishimoto's installation guide is hosted on mishimoto.com as an extension-less download link (/mwdownloads/download/link/id/698). Because it carries no file extension it could not be mirrored into the Speed Logic file library, so it is linked directly to Mishimoto's own site.
• All colors offered here are in current production. Three further colors (Frozen Dark Gray, Lime Rock Gray and Austin Yellow) have been discontinued by Mishimoto and are no longer available.
• The standard black version of this pipe, MMICP-F80-15, is carried separately by Speed Logic and is not a variant of this listing.
