OVERVIEW
BMW factory dampers with Electronic Damper Control (EDC / Adaptive M Suspension) are monitored by the car's electronics. Unplug them for a set of mechanical coilovers and the car will log faults and light the dash. The Öhlins EDC Cancellation Kit plugs into the original suspension connectors and deactivates the control lamps and error reports when the electronically adjustable OEM suspension is replaced by a mechanical system. No further programming is needed.
Öhlins part number 35020-04 is the cancellation kit for the BMW M3 E90 / E92 / E93. It is a companion part designed for Öhlins Road & Track coilover systems — it does not replace the dampers themselves.
