Speed Logic 3" Catless Race Downpipes – BMW M2C / M3 / M4 (S55, F8x)

OVERVIEW

On a turbocharged engine, back pressure in the exhaust suppresses the turbo's ability to spool, and the S55's factory catted downpipes are where most of that restriction lives. Speed Logic's catless race downpipes relieve it, and the resulting airflow is worth an additional 20-25 horsepower and 25-30 lb-ft at the wheels - numbers that have been track proven and tested rather than estimated. Construction is 304 grade stainless, 100% TIG welded with every weld backpurged in argon and left unground because we take pride in them, and installation hardware is included. Every Speed Logic downpipe carries a lifetime warranty against defects.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• A tune is required. These are catless downpipes, and without supporting software the car will log catalyst efficiency faults and throw a check engine light. Speed Logic supplies the MHD Super License for F-Series S55 Engine, the bootmod3 S55 Tune and the JB4 Tuner for S55.
• No other hardware is needed - the gasket and downpipe hardware are supplied in the box.

• No installation document is published for these downpipes. Our team is available to answer fitment questions, and installation is available at our Southern California facility.
