TiAL Sport MV-SAR 38mm Motorsport External Wastegate – Black / Red

OVERVIEW

The MV-SAR (38 mm) is TiAL Sport's endurance-racing version of the MV-S. Where the MV-SA is designed to shed heat, the MV-SAR is designed to isolate it: the valve bushing is made from a high-temperature stainless alloy and integrated into fins that act as multi-layer heat shielding, with minimal contact points near the cast housing to limit heat conducted up to the actuator.

TiAL designs it for installations where you want to avoid coolant lines and airflow is minimal, and it has been used in high-endurance motorsport for several years. TiAL's own advice: most builds do not need one, and if yours does, you will know why.

• 38 mm valve, 34 lb/min mass flow, 0.3–1.7 bar control range
• High-temperature stainless alloy valve bushing integrated into heat-shielding fins
• High-temperature alloy valve; stainless steel valve housing, valve seat and hardware
• High-temperature silicone-reinforced diaphragm; stainless steel springs
• V-band inlet and outlet; mating weld flanges are 304L stainless
• 3 lower and 2 upper air ports; plugs supplied for unused ports
• Clamp style: new band clamp set or V-clamp set
• Colors offered: Black or Red

Additional Parts Required

• Exhaust fabrication. The supplied flanges must be welded into the manifold or hot side. Spare flanges and clamps: TiAL Sport MV-S / MV-R Wastegate Flanges & V-Band Clamps.
• A boost control source — manual controller, electronic solenoid or ECU-driven.
