Black Market Race Gen 2 B58 Catch Can Kit

OVERVIEW

Any tuned B58 will eventually build excessive crankcase pressure. Most owners run a filter directly on the oil cap to vent it, which leaves a mess and looks rough. Black Market Race's Gen 2 B58 Catch Can routes a braided AN line from their custom billet oil cap to a remote catch can, all while staying under the engine cover.

The can is packed with stainless steel and internally baffled to catch oil particles before venting to atmosphere, with a M12x1.5 drain bolt on the bottom for easy service. Pre-made AN lines for the PCV and oil cap are included, and the kit now ships with the billet oil cap as standard. Two mounting kits are offered: a stock/hybrid-turbo bracket that mounts the can on the strut tower behind the airbox, and a top-mount-turbo bracket that mounts below the front radiator support.

TECH RESOURCES

• Required – 3/4" coolant bypass caps for stock turbo inlet installs (not included). Speed Logic does not sell these; source them from a standard hardware/plumbing supplier.
• Required above 30 psi – PCV block-off pins. When pins are installed, the CCV port on the side of the block must also be capped (this kit includes that CCV block-off plug). Speed Logic carries Black Market Race's B58 PCV Block Off Pins.
• Optional: a stock/hybrid-to-top-mount-turbo conversion kit (hoses, AN fittings, mounting bracket) is available at additional cost — contact Speed Logic to add it to your order.

• Fitment/mounting depends on the Chassis and Turbo option selected at checkout.
• Your tuner will likely need to code out a 16050A check-engine code, since the catch can vents to atmosphere and the ECU will see it as a crankcase leak.
• Black Market Race notes a 1–2 week lead time on catch cans; raw (non-powder-coated) units typically ship faster.
• Fitment on X3, X5 and X7 40i models varies and may require additional hose and/or bracket modification — contact Speed Logic to confirm fitment before ordering for those chassis.
• For off-road/closed-course use — not CARB compliant; not legal for sale or use on pollution-controlled vehicles registered for California highway use.
