DOC Race S55 Single Turbo Kit – BMW M3 / M4 / M2 Competition (F80 / F82 / F83 / F87)

OVERVIEW

The DOC Race S55 single turbo kit converts the M3, M4 and M2 Competition to a single Turbosmart V-band turbocharger on a wastegate-priority manifold with a 6-into-1 collector and 1.25 Schedule 40 runners, capable of over 1,200 whp when properly tuned.

Boost is controlled by a conventional pneumatic Turbosmart 45mm wastegate, with open-dump or recirculated options, and two charge pipe styles: dual inlet for the OEM charge cooler or single inlet for the DOC Race / CSF Race charge cooler.

• Kompact turbos (S compressor cover, 4" inlet / 2.5" outlet, works with the OEM carbon brace): 6466 (825–955 hp), 6870 (850–990 hp), 7170 (875–1,010 hp)
• Full Size turbos (H compressor cover, 4" inlet / 3" outlet, not compatible with the OEM carbon brace): 6870 (875–1,035 hp), 7275 (up to 1,240 hp), 7675 (1,110–1,290 hp), 7880 (1,140–1,350 hp), 8280 (1,225–1,445 hp)
• No-turbo option for your own Turbosmart reverse-rotation turbo
• Wastegate dump: open dump or recirculated
• Charge pipe: dual inlet (3" splitting to dual 2.25", OEM charge cooler) or single 3" inlet (DOC Race charge cooler)
• V-band manifold-to-turbo connection; flange machined flat before shipping
• 3.5" downpipes to the OEM mid-pipe location; no cutting of the lower belly pan
• Lead time: up to 8 weeks
• The no-turbo option price does not include a turbocharger.

Required Additional Parts

• Tuning (required): Bootmod3 S55 Tune, MHD Super License – S55 or JB4 Tuner – S55. Speed Logic ECU Unlock Service if your DME is locked.
• Upgraded fueling for high power: Precision Raceworks / BMP S55 Port Injection Kit.
• Single-inlet charge pipe option requires the DOC Race / CSF Race S55 charge cooler (sold separately).

Installation

• DOC Race kit video: S55 single turbo kit.
• Full Size turbos cannot be used with the OEM carbon brace; Kompact turbos can.
• DOC Race does not publish an installation manual for this kit. Contact Speed Logic for install support.
