Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe Kit (HKS BOV) – BMW 535i E60 N54

OVERVIEW

The Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe Kit with HKS BOV flange replaces the factory diverter valve charge pipe on the 2008–2010 BMW 535i (E60) with the N54 twin-turbo engine. It is built specifically for the E60 535i and comes from the same development work Evolution Racewerks did on its 135i Time Attack race car, where the factory diverter valves could not hold up to high boost.

The kit replaces the diverter valves with an HKS-pattern blow-off valve flange and uses smooth bends with minimal obstructions to keep charge air velocity up, for better throttle response, less turbo lag and more power potential. Instead of the silicone-hose connection most competitors use, it keeps a factory-style O-ring and C-clip lock flange at the throttle body and a CNC machined MAP sensor flange with the factory O-ring seal, so the connections stay leak-free under boost.

• Blow-off valve (required): a blow-off valve is needed. Choose a version with a valve included (HKS SSQV4 BOV in Silver or Black, or the HKS Race BOV), or select "HKS SSQV4 BOV Flange Only (No BOV)" to use your own valve, such as the HKS Super Sequential Blow-Off Valve 4 (SSQV4).

Installation

• Evolution Racewerks does not publish an installation guide or video for this charge pipe.
• Replaces the factory diverter valve charge pipe; reuses the factory throttle body O-ring and C-clip and the factory MAP sensor.
• Contact Speed Logic for installation support or a recommended installer.
