HKS Super Sequential Blow-Off Valve 4 (SSQV4) – BMW N54 Evolution Racewerks HKS Charge Pipes

OVERVIEW

The genuine HKS Super Sequential Blow-Off Valve 4 (SSQV4) is the valve Evolution Racewerks pairs with its HKS-flange charge pipe kits for the BMW N54. It replaces the factory diverter valves with a single atmospheric blow-off valve that releases boost pressure when the throttle closes, protecting the turbos and keeping boost from leaking under high-boost tunes.

The SSQV4 uses a 35mm valve and HKS's triple-fin outlet, which produces the distinctive HKS blow-off sound. It is one of the loudest valves on the market, so it suits owners who want an audible release every shift.

Additional Parts Required

• Evolution Racewerks HKS-flange charge pipe (required): the SSQV4 does not mount to the factory charge pipe. Choose the pipe for your car: 2006–08 Short Version 135i / 335i, 2009–10 Long Version 135i / 335i / 1M or 535i E60.
• Z4 sDrive35i / 35is E89: our Evolution Racewerks Z4 HKS charge pipe kit already includes this HKS SSQV4 valve, so it does not need to be purchased separately.

Installation

• Evolution Racewerks and HKS do not publish an installation guide or video for this application.
• Bolts to the HKS flange on the Evolution Racewerks charge pipe and connects to the factory boost/vacuum reference line.
• Contact Speed Logic for installation support or a recommended installer.
