Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipes – BMW N55 (F10 / F12 / F13)

OVERVIEW

The Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe replaces the factory soft plastic charge pipe on the N55 single-turbo engine, a component that is prone to breaking under high boost. The ER pipe is mandrel bent from lightweight, high-grade 6061 aluminum and sized at 3 inches to match the throttle body.

A precision CNC machined throttle body flange retains the factory-style o-ring lock, giving a leak-free connection and the same quick connect and disconnect as stock. That is a better arrangement than the silicone hose and clamp joints used by most other aftermarket diverter valve pipes. A CNC machined MAP sensor flange keeps that connection leak free as well, and the pipe remains compatible with the factory electronic diverter valve.

Installation

• Evolution Racewerks does not publish a downloadable installation guide for this charge pipe. It installs in the factory location using the retained o-ring lock flange and the supplied hardware.
