OVERVIEW
The MAX IV SP Drag is HKS's drag-racing coilover for the GR Supra, a return of HKS's drag-spec dampers updated for modern drag cars. The factory suspension is set up to find traction at both ends for every situation. This kit is built for one job: putting power into the rear tires off the line and keeping it there.
The rear damper carries a bump rubber that works as an additional spring, so the kit can cope with more power and stickier tires as the car develops. Both ends are full-length adjustable, which means the stroke ratio and bump-touch timing can be changed without changing ride height — shortening the rear damper delays bump touch and increases nose-up on launch. In HKS's own launch-control testing, the drag setup was about a second quicker to 100 km/h than stock, with less loss in the wheelspin zone. The front uses HKS's inverted strut with a dedicated outer cover, and the rear uses a lightweight billet aluminum upper plate. Straight-wound springs make rate changes easy.
This is a drag-only product and is not intended for street or circuit use. HKS lists it for the DB42 GR Supra 3.0 built through September 2020. Two versions are offered: 80250-AT003D without the canceler, and 80250-AT003DC with the Suspension Error Canceler included.

- Fitment: HKS lists DB42 GR Supra 3.0 cars built May 2019 – September 2020 only. Confirm your car's build date before ordering.
