KW H.A.S. Height Adjustable Spring Kit – BMW X5 M / X6 M (F95 / F96, S63 / S68)

OVERVIEW

H.A.S. stands for Height Adjustable Spring kit. It is springs only: the factory electronic dampers stay in the vehicle, and threaded perches front and rear let you set the drop precisely instead of accepting a fixed lowering spring height.

Because the OE dampers and their electronics are untouched, no EDC cancellation module is needed and adaptive damping keeps working in every drive mode. This kit covers the F95 X5 M and F96 X6 M, including the 2024+ S68-powered Competition models. If you want adjustable damping as well, look at the KW V4 coilover kit (3A7200CR) for the same chassis.

• Chrome-silicon steel springs with rates matched to the OE dampers and axle loads
• Stainless steel threaded collars and perches
• Vehicle-specific bump stops with dust protection included

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• None. The OE dampers are retained, so no KW cancellation module is needed.
• A corner-balance and full four-wheel alignment are required after installation (service not included).

Installation

• KW installation instructions are supplied in the box.
• In brief: the struts come out, the OE springs are swapped for the KW adjustable springs and bump stops on the OE dampers, the perches are set to the target height within KW's range, and the vehicle is corner-balanced and aligned. The damper wiring is never disturbed.

Notes

• For xDrive vehicles with electronic dampers. Not for vehicles with automatic self-leveling (rear air) suspension.
