OVERVIEW
The S63 in the F10 M5 and F1X M6 runs a pair of air-to-water intercoolers in the hot vee, and they heat-soak fast once boost is turned up. Mishimoto's replacements use bar-and-plate cores with 37% more volume than stock and about 10% less airflow restriction.
On a Stage 1 M5, Mishimoto measured a 24°F drop in intake temperature and gains of 25 whp and 22 lb-ft. The kit replaces both sides and comes with the intercooler pipes, couplers, brackets and coolant hoses needed to install them.

Additional Parts Required
- None. Intercooler pipes and couplers are included.
- Coolant is not supplied. The job opens the low-temperature charge-air coolant circuit, so plan to refill and bleed it with BMW-approved coolant.
