OVERVIEW
The Öhlins Road & Track coilover system gives the 1M a true racing experience without giving up comfort on the commute. Öhlins' patented Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology is the reason: one golden adjuster per damper changes low- and high-speed compression and rebound at the same time, so the car can be switched from a comfortable road setting to a firm track setting in seconds.
On track the result is sharper response, better bump absorption and more grip, which raises the safety margin when driving at the limit. The DFV components react quickly over bumps and curbs so the car stays on the racing line and in contact with the surface. On the drive to and from the circuit, set the dampers back to road mode for a relaxed ride that still offers more grip and quicker response than stock.
BMZ MN01S1 is the dedicated kit for the E82 1M Coupé. It is a monotube design built largely from aluminum for light weight and long-term corrosion resistance, is fully rebuildable, and uses the factory upper mounts for OE fitment. The 1M does not have factory electronic dampers, so no EDC cancellation kit is needed.

TECH RESOURCES
Additional Parts Required
- No additional parts are required — the kit reuses the factory top mounts and the 1M has no EDC to cancel.
- A four-wheel alignment after installation is required; corner weighting is recommended for cars used on track.

- Fits the 1M Coupé only. Non-M 1 Series E82 / E88 and E9x 3 Series take the BMS MI01S1 kit; the E9x M3 takes the BMS MI40S1 kit.
