OVERVIEW

The N55 version of the Black Market Parts stock-location performance intake manifold. Die-formed sheet metal with CNC billet ends rather than a casting, 15.65 lbs without injectors or fuel line.

Like the N54 unit it is built around future fuel system growth: center-flow port injection bungs, six 1/8 in NPT direct-port ports for methanol or nitrous, and four further expansion ports. It ships with the OEM-spec o-rings and the injector and rail spacers, so the assembly seals on o-rings rather than gasket maker.

Additional Parts Required

• Not included: 4 x M6 x 1.0 x 50 mm bolts and 4 x M6 flat washers. If you are not using the phenolic spacer, also 2 x M7 x 1.0 x 35 mm bolts and 2 x M7 flat washers.
• Certain OEM and aftermarket airboxes are NOT compatible with this manifold. Plan your intake before ordering.
• F10 535i: per Black Market Parts, the F10 chassis cannot fit both an ignition kit and an aftermarket manifold, because of the inlet location across the back of the engine. Contact us before ordering for an F10.
• Extended intake manifold studs. Required, not stocked by Speed Logic: Extended Intake Manifold Studs (501-0018).
• Fresh intake manifold o-rings if you are reusing anything. Required, not stocked by Speed Logic: Intake Manifold O-Rings, OE Spec, 6 Pack (501-0001).

• A phenolic spacer if you want to cut heat soak further. Optional, not stocked by Speed Logic: Phenolic Spacer for BMP Manifold, 1/2 in (501-0081).
• An ignition kit in the aftermarket-manifold configuration if you are relocating the coils (not possible on the F10 535i - see above). Optional, not stocked by Speed Logic: Precision Raceworks N55 Ignition Kit.

Installation

• Precision Raceworks does not publish an installation PDF for this manifold.
• Depressurize the fuel system and drain coolant as required before removing the factory manifold.
• Fit the supplied injector and rail spacers so each o-ring seats at the correct height.
• Use extended studs, and torque the manifold down evenly in a cross pattern.
• Blank any port injection or NPT ports you are not using, then leak- and boost-check before the first drive.
• Professional installation is recommended.

Notes

• This listing is the bare manifold with no injectors and no port injection fuel line. Precision Raceworks also sells it configured with flow-matched Bosch Motorsports 750cc or 950cc injectors and an Aeroquip AN6 top-mount fuel line, and in blue, red or silver as well as black - all at higher prices. Contact us if you want a configured manifold.
