Precision Raceworks F-Series F2X / F3X B58 High Performance Fuel Pump

OVERVIEW

The F-Series B58 found in the 340i, 440i and M240i, along with the B46 / B48 four-cylinder in the 230i, 320i, 330i and 430i, comes with a brushless in-tank pump that flows about 3.55 LPM at 72 psi. It is fine for stock power, but it becomes the limit once you add an upgraded turbo, E85 or port injection.

The Precision Raceworks F-Series F2X / F3X B58 High Performance Fuel Pump keeps the OEM brushless pump in a genuine OEM bucket and adds a boost-activated Walbro pump on the outside of the bucket. Stage 3 is a plug-and-play drop-in for up to 900 whp. Stage 4 and 4.5 add AN-6 feed lines, a fuel pressure regulator, return lines and an inline filter for 1000+ whp builds. No aftermarket EKP is needed.

PARTS INCLUDED

• All stages: genuine OEM fuel pump bucket pre-assembled with the OEM brushless pump and mounted Walbro pump, fuel sending unit, plug-and-play boost reference harness and 13 psi boost reference (Hobbs) switch
• Stage 4 and 4.5 add: AN-6 fuel feed lines, fuel pressure regulator, return lines and a new inline fuel filter
• Stage 4.5 uses a Walbro 525 in place of the Walbro 450

• No additional parts are required; the kit is complete as supplied (no aftermarket EKP controller needed).

• Stage 3 is a drop-in with no wires to cut or splice: the bracket slides onto the side of the bucket, the factory pump inserts into the bucket and the top hat closes as normal.

Notes

• Fits F-chassis (F2X / F3X) B46, B48 and B58 Gen 1 cars only; G-chassis B58 cars and the GR Supra use the Precision Raceworks G-Series hybrid pump.
• The assembly may need to be partly disassembled to pass through the tank opening.
• Stage 4 and 4.5 use an adjustable regulator; set base fuel pressure per the guide above.
