SPL Front Swaybar Endlinks – BMW E8X / E9X / F2X / F3X / F8X / G2X / G8X / G42 & 1M

OVERVIEW

SPL Parts PRO Front Endlinks (FE) use massive Teflon-lined FK 1/2" bearings to give the highest load capacity for use with stiffer aftermarket sway bars. Custom heat treated chromoly high misalignment studs connect to the sway bar and offer 65 degrees of articulation, which prevents the endlink from binding when different adjustment holes on an aftermarket bar are used.

The endlinks are length adjustable so preload can be taken out of the sway bar — preload that results from uneven spring settling or uneven suspension heights after corner weighting. Black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum turnbuckles work with left and right hand threaded rod ends for simple, precise adjustment. Suited to street and race use alike.

Additional Parts Required

• None required to run the part. SPL specifies no additional hardware beyond what is supplied.
• Corner weighting is recommended for track use, and the endlinks should be set to zero preload afterwards with the car at ride height, not on a lift with the wheels hanging.
• Professional installation is recommended; these are safety-critical suspension components.

Notes

• BEFORE PURCHASING — if you have aftermarket shocks or coilovers: many coilover manufacturers move the upper swaybar mount away from the OEM location. Measure the distance between the swaybar and the shock mount: it must be 11.4"–12.9" for SPL FE F8X and SPL FE F3X, 10.4"–11.9" for SPL FE E9X and 12.9"–14.4" for SPL FE E9M. If it is not, measure the length you need to within half an inch and Speed Logic before ordering. SPL cannot confirm fitment with aftermarket shocks and coilovers.
• Read the part numbers carefully. Despite its E9M code, SPL FE E9M is the correct front endlink for the E82 1M, the G20 / G22 non-M cars, the G42 and the G80 / G82 / G83 / G87 M cars. SPL FE F8X covers the F8X M2 / M3 / M4 and is also listed by SPL for the G8X.
