SPL Rear Toe Links with Eccentric Lockout – BMW E8X / E9X / F2X / F3X / F8X / G8X & 1M

OVERVIEW

SPL Parts TITANIUM Series Rear Toe Arms (RTA) supplied with the matching eccentric lockout hardware — the two parts most rear suspension jobs need at the same time. The arms eliminate bushing deflection and provide a far wider range of rear toe adjustment than the factory eccentric bolt and washer, which matters on lowered cars and for performance alignments because even small changes to ride height and camber shift toe. The lockout washers replace the factory eccentrics with hardware that cannot rotate, so the alignment stays where it was set.

Black anodized, gun drilled 2024 aluminum main links combine with SPL's 6061-T6 aluminum 360-degree Rotating Clamp and blue anodized titanium socket head cap screws for quick, precise adjustment. Three-piece FK rod ends made in Connecticut use a chemically bonded PTFE liner for quiet, low-friction articulation with no bushing deflection under load. The 6061-T6 aluminum eccentric lockout washers come with grade 10.9 hex cap bolts and lock nuts.

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation — mandatory. Rear toe must be reset once the arms are fitted.
• Professional installation is recommended; these are safety-critical suspension components.
• Corner weighting is recommended for track use.
• A 3/16" allen key is required to lock the rotating clamps; the installer supplies this.
• To use the full rear toe range on a lowered car, pair these with adjustable rear upper arms: SPL Rear Upper Camber Arms – BMW E8X / E9X / F2X / F3X / F8X or, for the G8X, the SPL Rear Upper Arms – BMW M3 / M4 (G8x).

Notes

• Spherical bearings transmit more road noise and vibration into the cabin than the rubber bushings they replace. This is normal for this type of part.
