TiAL Sport Q 50mm Blow-Off Valve (10 PSI Spring) – BMW N54

OVERVIEW

The TiAL Sport Q is the first revision of the original TiAL blow-off valve and remains the company's highest-flowing atmospheric valve. It bolts straight onto any standard TiAL V-band flange with no re-welding, so it drops onto a TiAL-flanged charge pipe in minutes. This listing is the black 50 mm Q valve supplied with a 10 psi spring and set up for external (atmospheric) venting.

The Q is built for turbocharged and supercharged applications, including centrifugal superchargers such as Paxton and Vortech. TiAL states that development work made the same size valve flow roughly 60% more than the original design, and that a single Q valve can support up to 1,800 hp.

Additional Parts Required

• A charge pipe with a TiAL 50 mm V-band flange. The Q valve does not include a weld flange in this configuration — see the SPEED LOGIC Chargepipe Upgrade Kit w/ TiAL BOV, which is also sold as a chargepipe-only option.
• Vacuum signal line. TiAL specifies 1/4 in (6 mm) inner diameter hose, kept as short as possible and taken from a source downstream of the throttle body.

Notes

• The Q is a universal valve: it fits any charge pipe or manifold carrying a standard TiAL 50 mm V-band flange, so exact chassis and year coverage depends on the charge pipe you run. Confirm fitment with Speed Logic before ordering.
