Similar to the charge pipes connecting the turbo to the intercooler, the J/U-pipe is an additional piece that is located on the other side of the intercooler and is fabricated with plastic from the factory. As part of the power upgrades segment for the S55, the J-pipe should also be replaced as it is a vulnerability like the other charge pipes stated above. By upgrading to a lightweight aluminum J-pipe, the turbos can create additional boost without the worry of a shattered charge pipe.
